new term, new wounds

Greetings gorgeous people!! I meant to update yesterday but it was the first day back at school and i was so busy with homework that i didnt have a moment to breathe. Yesterday I met my best friend after a fortnight of not seeing each other. There wasnt much to catch up as we were both less productive during the holidays than we'd like to be. She's got new rabbits and i turned 18 and that was about it .
we had to sit through 2 hours of child genius demonstrations as a welcome. a group of kids from india who claim to have the brightest minds showed how fast they memorize a deck of cards, solve a rubric's cube, and do mental math. then i met an old primary school friend who recently enrolled and was so excited to see me and it was so fun to see a ghost from the past too, except i knew she was coming cause facebook... hello? thinking back on my really fantastic childhood and primary school, i recalled how i used to have really fun textbooks and because i had exercise books stacked to the heavens then, it would be hard to find the needed one most quickly. the brightest solution was to write the subject and book on the top of the book(above the pages like the stamps on library books) so looking down you'd see them. It was such brilliance then... maybe even now. hope this helps someone!
dinner is always the best time of day and yesterday didnt disappoint. I had a yummy rice bowl of mixed veges in a food court and the the fun part was i got to try out new drinks from a new cafe next to the food court. they were called mocktails so like seemingly alcoholic but no alcohol. i had one called phoenix dive and it was red and yellow and tasted like tropical fruit which is also the scent of my body wash from bath and body works now.
hours later i slept and i think that is when i look most agreeable. during then i dont have to work so hard to be at peace with the atmosphere
so today... you know what, I wont talk about it! it'll be a wet blanket over anyone right now.
on the bright side of the earth: SAT RESULTS ARE THIS THURSDAY!! good luck to anyone receiving their results then and dont freak out!
