fun fun weekend

best hello to the fellow reading! hi!! i havent posted in a while because i was just so so busy with a Summer programme i attended. I went a day before the programme with my dad and we watched a DiCaprio movie on the train(was about him forging and stealing money...not bad, really). then for lunch we had Burger King!!! Gosh it was so long since i've had a burger king-they dont have that in ipoh- and i reminisce to when i was a child and on holiday we had BK and their drinks used to come with free refills and they once had a contest going on where their cups had a layer you could peel back and you would see what you'd get as a prize. just so much fun it was. then i went to an imported-foods market an got my all time favourite childhood snack:
these are Japanese egg cookies and they melt in your mouth. i used to eat these all the time and because they are so small and so cute, they're so fun to eat. they cost about rm7 which is a lot for a small pack of food but i would have bought it regradless the price. Also, these are so addictive that you cant just take a handful and be content. it's not bad for you though, it's not sweet and really egg-y. i had the most fun dinner ever, walking to my favourite PanMee restaurant Jojo pan mee at SS2.
They have really nice noodles and FRIED WONTONS!! plus, do you see how big the bowl is! I really like them.
The next day i went to British International School KL for the programme and it's fancy beyond scale of fanciness. they had a really nice eating place, big lifts, nice pool and grassy fields. I made friends really easily with people from KL and Penang (but mostly KL). to initiate the programme, they had a bagpiper to come perform which i found hilarious because it was a Chinese man playing!! Nothing wrong with that of course, but the VIPs were all Scots and i wondered what they thought of a guy like that. There were many professors and they each held workshops of the degree courses they offer and they were so much fun. we travelled in groups and i was in one called, Agnes Blackadder. they said she was the first female to graduate St Andrews and she has a hall named after her. Each group has student mentors which were Malaysian students studying in St Ands and were all part of the Malaysian student in St Ands Society. they were really nice people and they told us about a 1st of may tradition where the whole school goes skinny dipping into the sea.
after my first day at BSKL, I had dinner with my best friend from high school at a sushi place and tried Natto maki. I only know what it is because i watched a Nigahiga episode where they challenged people to eat as many of it as possible. it's fermented soy beans and it's vinegary and slimier than a toad.
The programme ended yesterday and i got of the train from KL. There was a sad closing ceremony but i won rm100 from a photo-contest along with a bag and a St Ands mug. good times!
Was a quick weekend, but i wouldnt have it any other way.
homeworks a waiting. bye!
