a week of christmas

hey gorgeous people! Its been 3 days since christmas and im sinking into the couch. Christmas was a good time for me and i hope it was for you too. News years is in 3 days and i dont think we've decided on how to celebrate just yet.
A fews before christmas i was with my friend who had just returned from singapore and i was so so so stoked. I used to talk a bunch about her on my blog when we studied together but now not so much. We had planned to watch that new star wars movie but we missed it causs we were too busy talking about everything thats been happening. I had so much fun but with our busy schedules i dont think we'll get to hang out so often. We went to a starbucks and i realise that everytime i meet up with a highschool friend, we only ever go to a starbucks or a coffee bean.
Something thatwas brought up when we were talking about our high school mates was that before starting uni i had already made amends with those i didnt get along with. Everyone's cool now and im really thankful for that cause then we can have a reunion without a smidge of awkwardness. Yeah! But beyond highschool mates i also made amends with random people i know in someway. It worked out with 2 guys that i knew and it failed with a faraway person. Maybe you cant fix a bridge thats too long cause physically, we are really far away. I havent had any contact at all with these 3 people and i am crazy happy that we are 'acquaitances' now. Actually i think we're friends but i wont be the first to admit that. I actually hung out with one of them awhile ago and i really regret letting 2 years go to waste cause we're going to be really far away soon. Not that it matters a great deal but i domt know, what if something could have happened in that 2 years? But it did feel like nothing's changed between us. We both got a lot more good looking though. Yeah!
The next big thing that happened was on christmas eve. As a kid mom always made steamboat soup during christmas but we havent done that in like 3 years now? And we werent planning on a homecooked meal on christmas day so during the eve of dday, dad booked a spot at a steamboat and bbq buffet place. It had a funky name that i forgot and am too lazy to google but it was good! Here's a picture

The craziest thinga bout this is that there is no gas heating up the pot. Its all burning charcoal underneat the table. Its so cool! I super love buffets though my favourite kind is a buffet breakfast, this was superb too.
On christmas day itself we had a bump. The battery of my mom's car got stolen. On christmas! And we had  trip planned for that day! My issue is i was home alone when it happened but me being not the most attentive or observant person there is, i didnt know someone was hacking away at the car. Everyone else was out shopping with our other car. I should have defended my car like that Kevin from Home alone. And it was CHRISTMAS!
I have had  long day. Been super busy and burned a lotta calories but theres so much i wanna say from my day today that i will keep for tomorrows posts. See ya!

kl christmas holiday!!- merry christmas!!

hello once again my gorgeous people!! i am super duper pumped about this post because there will be plenty of pictures in it. now before i get into my trip details, i wanna talk about some crazy candy that has me so so happy. now my sissy got these from me and they are really yummy stuff. so its a box of half chewy bonbons and half christmas coloured jelly beans. now i hate being a glutton so im totally not about that life but for candy, i go crazy.

okay, so now on to my super cool trip to kl. now on my first day we didnt do much cause it was late. we just had dinner at a pan mee restaurant called jojo's pan me where i tried to download some netflix with their free wifi but it didnt work and i ended up paying for a lot of data usage. then we went to family mart to get icecream and breakfast for the next day. i saw their posters about a limited melon ice cream and i was so looking forward to that but then they were like, 'oh, we dont have that anymore' and i was pissed cause the posters were right there. anyways i was happy with a matcha ice cream regardless. the next day, i woke up early like to some netflix and an onigiri breakfast. that went on till like 10am when sissy and i took an uber to paradigm mall and here's our haul:

so we bought some cheese ramen, 2 packs of chocolate, 2 pairs of earrings, one necklace, one bow for your hair and what im most proud off, the mini pack of pretzels and bacon rashers. now we didnt know what bacon rashers were till today and i like it! its tangy and crispy like vinegar chips. the bow is fantastic and is totally cute.

we had a cuppa and some juice with some snacks in the middle of shopping but i didnt take a great many pictures. so just one bathroom selfie and one amongst the creepy nutcracker soilders.

at night we went to berjaya mall and pavillion to see the christmas trees and take some really cool pictures! we took a train, lrt, mrt, monorail thing... i dont know what's it called and we made it about. but moving from berjaya to pavillion, we took an uber and our driver was really funky.

he was like mad cause the roads were jammed and we were almost at a standstill. apparently the prime minister had like a thing going on so some roads were blocked and this is what was causing the jam. he was pissed and he seemed to really like talking politics and we listened to him rant about the government and about the upcoming elections. elections went really well for the americans didnt it?

the day of my departure, we had breakfast at a really cool place called Roast and Toast. noodles and meats were okay but lemme tell you something about the drinks. it sucks. the coffee tasted like medicine and the tea was super sour. but hey, the brown bits of crispy fat were pretty good.

this post has been a draft for far too long and i am actually going back to kl today. yay! merry christmas to everyone and i hope you have a good one.

what's new... i fought demons and cops

hey, hey there gorgeous people!!! i know it's been like a month since i last updated and i have been itching to get on here. see, finals ended about 3 days ago which should be explanation enough. how has life been? well... i have this problem, and it's that i dont speak out when i need to. i can say this on my blog over and over again. i can say this on my youtube channel over and over again. but i cant seem to put words into action. here's how the story begins,
i started off doing charity work on my first day. there was a rude, pig-like person who i will not acknowledge as a girl. so she stank and was plain gross. i, thinking i should be nice and stuff, befriended her. that totally backfired when she took advantage of me. yes, i was taken advantage off, bullied by a sick, stinking pig. I was mad for a long while. asking myself how could i not have seen it? why didnt i say something all the times she made me mad? but i have moved on after a lot of thought and prayer and meditation.
thankfully i wansnt mad long as there are other things to be mad about such as the police of this country. three days ago i came home from school hungry so i dumped my bagpack which had my purse in it in my bag and followed my mom out to lunch. the restaurant was just a straight road from our gated residence and i dont know what came over us that day but we werent wearing our seat belts like we normally would. and the strangest thing is that on the one day where i wasnt bothered to wear my belt, the cops chased after us. they honked us asking us to pull over and when we did, immediately one unfit, malay cop comes and starts making accusations in harsh tones. was the voice and the attitude supposed to make up for what he lacks in every other department? like his brain? he dare call me a liar and worse things? the heck dude, he literally works for the biggest liar in the country, known as our government and he dare lectures me, right in front of my mom, about me being dishonest? how even? anyways he pushed it when he threatened me to follow him to the station. but thankfully God was with us and thankfully my mom is super duper smart. some how we were let off with just a warning. i dont even understand how it happened but i liked that we got off scot free.
the day finals ended was the day i got sucked into this hole called netflix. i love it! so many shows and so little time... i finished 2 seasons of Riverdale in a day. that's like impossible but yes, it happend. Riverdale is the best thing that ever played on a screen. if you havent seen it yet, i suggest you get a move on it. i was most excited to see my favourite disney star, Cole Sprouse looking supremly gorgeous as Jughead Jones. i like him so much that i have been hunting for a south side serpent leather biker jacket thing much like his. so in the unlikely event where we meet, i would be wearing it. i like archie as well but not as much. ask me and i think betty did well in getting over him and starting over with Juggy. the food in the show though, those milkshakes? they look so pretty and i keep questioning if theyre real. im actually halfway through stranger things as im typing this. goodness i love netflix. Finn and Millie are the cutest kids if i ever saw one.
yesterday night i came back on a train to kampar and i was super excited. i had in hand my bags, shopping bags and my precious cargo, BURGER KING. BK is the best burger joint ever and i love it so much! i had them for supper alongside a homemade salad. love salads!
i have so much to say about my holiday to kl that i'll need a whole post for it. you may expect it sometime tonight.

Saturday 18 November 2017

hi! something new everyday?

hello gorgeous people!! it is now 8.42 pm on a chilly Saturday night and i have never been more tired. the day for me started at 5 am and it was freezing. in kampar i sleep without air conditioning which sucks most of the time but today i wasnt mad about it. i genuinely could have lost my nose from frost bite. i had an alarm of course and it was so spooky. whilst setting the alarm on my device last night i realised that theres a button that says something like, 'read time aloud'. now, i have not noticed this before so i was all for it. instantly regreted it this morning. it rang like once and than a ghostly, female voice just reads, 'FIVE. AE. EMM.' may be that's why i felt chilly. from the coldness of the voice i heard first in the morning. so it wasnt my brightest idea.
i got up, had the kettle on for my morning tea, then took a warm shower. i had my clothes laid out the night before so it was a really simple time for me. after getting dressed, i had an egg and a cuppa. i downloaded a couple of chess strategy videos to watch on the way to the competition but i only watched half of it. haha! at 6.40am my ride came and i was so excited! it was my first time meeting my chess team and they were the coolest! there were 4 of us including me and they were all interesting people and chatty and we play chess hahaha!!
we reached the venue which was a polytechnic i didnt even know existed despite being from ipoh. we were a half hour early so we just hung around and tried to calm our nerves. the poly was really simple- a low cost building really. then you see their lifts and immediately think you've been transported to a luxury hotel! it was the kind of lift with the mirrors inside.
we started playing about 9am, and then it gets hazy for me. i know there were five rounds. i lost round 1 to the most obnoxious girl ever, had a draw in round 2, and only won one game later. so my overall wasnt the best. i really practiced hard so it hurts that i wasnt able to show it. my biggest regret today was definitely not taking a draw. i basically gave away a win.

lunch was definitely the highlight for me today. just sitting, eating and talking is really fun. also i was on home turf so yes eating has suddenly become something i like to do. we went to wingzone for chicken cause it was near the poly and it was also sorta empty for a Saturday.
i am now home in kampar. under the sheets, feeling like a Care Bear. i need a early night because i have a very special day tomorrow. which i sadly cant tell you about just yet.
but what i can tell you, is something utterly silly. yes i just so happened to do something silly. probably no one is surprised. i now have a super secret post in one of the clubs im in, where i am supremely awkward and have a totally different personality during meetings. i mean the members are great but we have a barrier that prevents me from being comfortable. lets hope i wont be awkward for long la. it comes at a great sacrifice for me. but really, it is such an honor to be given the position. more on that later! time for bed!

ending my hiatus after a fortnight

hello everyone!! it has been awhile. wow i miss typing for fun and not like rapidly typing away for an assignment or something. ah, assignments. maybe i'll rant on that later but now i'd like to talk about my today. my first class was a tutorial and i was early so i wanted to take out my homework so i'd be ready when my tutor starts and i almost cried when i couldnt find it. i worked hard on it to impress my tutor and i hadnt brought it. i was sitting in the front of the empty classroom (apart for 2 other people) and i was freaking out inside. i frantically messaged my sissy and she tells me not to worry and just take a seat at the back where the tutor might not see me. i moved to the back and i started my homework all over. i was really panicking when my friend with a different timetable calls me back and says, 'there's not going to be a discussion today cause it's all presentations'. i was so relieved but i also had completed the homework again so i didnt have anything to worry about in the first place. i moved back to my regular seat in the front which must have looked weird to the two people who first saw me move back initially. so i went front again and my regular group mates where already seated there. we arent close thats why i have to careful to never refer to them as friends even by accident. i once thought we were considered friends but that was before the incident of last thursday which you will understand soon.
after class today, my tutor held me back and she asked me, 'i saw you sitting at the back last Thursday. Why?' what really happened was my group had reached class before I had and to leave me out on purpose, had a random guy who was one of their friends to sit at my normal seat. so i moved to the back which i had never done before. i have forgiven them since. i mentioned that to our tutor but also added that i have already settled all issues with them. she told me it's good that i have managed to settle it and she also said, 'well, that's life'.
there's a guy in the group who really really looks like my dad. not like a current version of him, but of  him when he was younger. he has tan skin, isnt tall at all and looks somewhat nerdy. there is really a resemblance and that's sort of weird.
my schedule tomorrow is a bit of a relaxing one because i just had a 2 hour lecture cancelled. so that frees it up a little. but, my day would still end late as i have a taekwondo lesson to get to tomorrow at night. you have no idea how scary it is to bike at night guys. it's the worst but it must be done. taekwondo is fun!
i am now in the middle of week 4 of classes and loving it. i cant to tell you more about my friend, SW and my adventures in my clubs yeah!

Monday 23 October 2017

entering week 2 of my something new

hey everyone! happy monday! my weekend was a great one! i finished all my assignments, went swimming, went to a big mall and finished watching the 2016 version of PowerPuff Girls. last thursday and friday, my dad was around to drive me around to where i needed to be and that was really fun for me too. also, he gave me driving lessons. i drove around our neighbourhood and i thought it was really good driving. we did some parking practices and i entered the box perfectly 3 out of 4 times. sadly, when i asked if he thought i was ready to drive to school, he said i could use a bit more practice. but thats okay though, cause i still feel nervous when driving and if he thinks that way means its for the best. so i get into an accident or hit a monkey or something.
i finished my assignment and that is super amazing and whats super amazing is that i brought mahjong paper to the same class today and we used it. okay, yes, we were asked to bring it but it sounds cool if i just had an instinct to bring a funky sized paper to school and we just so happen to need it and i was the only one who had it.
swimming was definitely my highlight this weekend. it was really cold so early in the morning and i was feeling so 'urgh' to get into the cold water but once i started, i loved it. my specialty is the breaststroke and now im learning to master the freestyle. still cant thread the water though. it was my coach's birthday too that day and i hope she had a great day. we sang for her while doing our warm ups. there's a guy in the super advanced class and he's young but has abs and its not the fake kind where he has to flex to let it show but it was just there. a lot of people saw it last week and i think all of us were impressed and couldnt help but stare for a while. whatdyaknow, he came to lesson this week with a shirt one, which he didnt have on last week. think he noticed the stares? maybe.
i went to a mall, the big one in ipoh and i bought quite a lot of stuff. i got a tshirt, some gloves for cleaning my turtle, and 2 pairs of pink fluffy indoor slippers. also i bought a book. its called 小王子 and i loved the english version of it. i read it so many times.
okay now time for some cartoon action here! so if you were born in the late late nineties, you may have watched the original Powerpuff girls where their emergency phone was a toy home phone with curly wire, where their voices(for all except for buttercup) were super duper high pitched. the concept is still the same, 3 powergirl sisters, saving the town. theres a professor who's like their dad and a mayor who is huge baby. the animation is really different though. its like a cross of adventure time and phineas and ferb though more of adventure time. the girls still have the same personality just they talk different using terms like: yassss, mic drop and selfie. most importantly, the emergency phones are now iphones. hahaha.
okay it's getting late and its a new day tomorrow. see you guys!

kingsman 2017 review... loved it

hello everyone!! i am back and its so good to be finally doing a post after what feels like forever. you wont believe how busy i have been. and to think that i was considering starting another blog. that would have been too much work to handle! anyways i am bursting with happiness and i have a great speech to write about that but let's get on to more recent news. this weekend was a fantastic one. just like wow! so not only did i get a super cute guitar pick, i went to the theater to watch the greatest movie of 2017: KINGSMAN: THE GODLDEN CIRCLE.
isnt it the most adorable thing?!

okay about the movie! it starts of with a fight scene between a guy in a suit and a guy with a robot arm(i thought of Deandra from MPGiS) so i was really liking it from the start. Also there's a guy named merlin?! like my absolute favourite uk- tv series ever!! the protagonists' Eggsy. he's agent for the spy organization: Kingsman. so he fights the robot arm guy who was trained agent by Kingsman but got rejected and went rogue. they were figuring out his motive for the attack and turns out, he got scouted by a psycho lady who is leading in the drug distributing world. she's rich but no one knows her so she want's fame. she poisons her drugs so that everyone who takes them get these weird blue rash action going on and that turns out to be symptom one of the 4 levels of intensity before death by her drugs. she holds back on the antidote, making a deal with the president of the united states. she's got her hostage situation going on so everyone knows her now. the president has his own agenda and think he's going to outsmart her but he fails and goes to jail while the psycho drug lady dies by her own drug in the end. oh yeah her drug ring is called The Golden Circle hence the title.
there's plenty of comedy included. more if you count swearing as comedy too.
elton john makes an appearance too! he was one of the hostages the psycho lady kept with her and she made him do private performances and stuff andddd he has his own fight scene. he wore heels and feathered coats like such a diva!
my favourite scene happens at the ski resort in italy when they try to steal a vial of antidote from the lab there. they were in the gondola going down when the ropes holding the carriage snaps and they swing off, sliding downhill towards a retirement home resort place and there were elderly sitting ouside and when they stop the carriage just in time, an old guy said that it was the first decent shit he's had in weeks and i thought that it was funny coming from an old guy.
now i have to get going to start with school so i'll see you sometime soon!

watching Girl Meets World- yes that Disney show

Good morning my readers!!! it is thursday today and we are nearing the weekend! yesterday i had a fun time! the best day of ever! there were flowers, balloons and decor all over the house. even cake!! yes there was a super special birthday yesterday!! the most amazing person ever... MUMMY!!! yeah it was so much fun and i was very happy. oh yeah, also it was the mid autumn festival yesterday. to all my people celebrating, eat lots of mooncake!
a couple of days ago, i watched Big Hero 6 in mandarin on iflix and i discovered that Baymax in mandarin is BeiMian!!! hahaha!! it was pretty easy to understand but then again it's a kids show so they cant use very complex vocabulary after all. i really like having an iflix account so you can tell how excited i am that i have a free subscription until december of this year. so i was scrolling to iflix and i decided to watch an episode of this Disney show- Girl meets World. when i was a tween i lived for such disney sitcoms like hannah montana, wizards of waverly place, and icarly( actually thats nickelodeon). thing is, they had only the first season of GMW on iflix so if i wanted to watch season 2, i was going to have to find it on my own. i found this site where you can watch it free right here: watch it!
thing is, having not watched such shows in a while, you realise that there are valuable life lessons that you can learn from these shows. i want to talk about the most recent 2 episodes that i watched. they are season 2 episode 17 and 19.
here goes:
episode 17 is called GirlMeets Rileytown. In this episode, Riley is being bullied for her unique personality. She smiles a lot and is always cute and happy. the bully called her names, made fun that she was goofy and silly and different. her gang of friends found out about what was going on and tried to help her. but she didnt want them to find out or talk to them about it. they just kept talking to her, supporting her, telling her that she is unique and that they like her just the way she is. they accepted her weirdness and it gave her the strength, courage to face the bully head on. she accepted herself and the bully left her alone in the end. what is amazing to me is that they didnt give a face to the bully. is it said it was a 'her' but that was it. we hear what she said through riley's retelling to the gang and in the end when they face off, she riley faced the camera to make it seem like the bully is beyond the screen! i think it's great they did that because a bully doesnt need to look any specific way. it can be a kind looking guy but do you have any idea how hard it is to judge character. i really cried when riley cried next to maya telling her everything that she was called. in truth, why do people hate smiley people? what is so wrong with being goofy? why cant a girl with a bright personality be accepted just the way she is? who do the bullies think they are, trying to control how an innocent person should be behaving? listen up, i know what it's like to have schoolmates tell you that they'll punch the smile off your face. i know what it's like to be called names. but i also know how to rise above it. to not be affected or change yourself to please the bullies.
episode 19 is called Girl Meets Rah Rah. in this episode, riley tries to fulfill her life's dream of being a cheerleader even though she is inexperienced and the coach doesnt like her. her friends try to discourage her in the beginning and they tell her that she wont be good and stuff like that. it made me really mad for a while because i hate it when people look down on other people's dreams. dreams should be protected. thankfully her dad supported her and she had a strong will to not give up so she made it to all 3 days of tryouts. i like that her dad helped. soon her friend's realised they were wrong to discourage her. they decided to not stop riley from doing what she wants to do as true friends would. this is a true mark of a friend, they support, always remember that when youre choosing your friends okay, susanna! her dad who also happens to be her teacher said some really nice things like, 'if you give up, youll only be left in the dark' or something along that line.
my favourite character is Farkle. he's skinny, tall, awkward, smart and pale. there's a charm to it. here's how he looks post puberty and not in his Farkle character:

i have some business to take care of now but ill see you guys in my post tomorrow where i will most likely write about how bad greed can destroy a life. that is if i dont see another disney show i would like to write about. see you!

when you look back

hey everyone! it is a wet morning in kampar. it started raining about an hour ago. i was out on my bike and i felt a drizzle so i made a quick turn and came home. i really like cycling and stuff. so anyway, its raining really heavy and i think its been rainy for a week now? maybe that long.
last night i googled 'utar carpool app' and i found it! it is called U Drive! you guys should check it out. i think there's like a thousand downloads. yesterday, i also found a website where you can stream Fresh Off the Boat for free. iflix shows you until season 2 but there's actually 4 seasons. here's the link: Fresh Off the Boat. the show is about a Chinese immigrant family made up of a mom, a dad, a grandma and 3 kid boys. the series is actually based of a memoir written by eddie huang and that is also the name of the eldest kid character in the show. it's actually great comedy. there s no focus on the struggles of fitting in as a non white in a white country. but its like a regular family show just based on chinese people. GO CHINESE PEOPLE. the kids are actually really cute. my favourite is the middle kid and his real name is Forrest wheeler. it's a real name and it reminds me of forrest gump which is also another character i like. he's handsome and he looks really tough too. check it out:
cute, no?
this morning has been a morning of discoveries. i discovered that i am really bad at choosing 'friends' and i am really naive and that is a very dangerous trait to have. i really regret that in the past i chose a lot of wrong people to give to my support to. i supported people i thought were real friends because i couldnt see past their front and see their real intentions.
my real personality is naturally a supportive person. i get that from the folks. happy!
the thing is in the past i have supported people i thought were 'friends' but they were real fiends. i have said this before but i will say it again. PROTECT YOUR OWN DREAMS. dont let the negative 'friends' bring you down or say you cant do stuff. people are always jealous of me thats why they tried to bring me down. i wasnt careful enough to see that but now i will try to be less naive and be more sure of the people i hang out with in the future. i will keep working hard and move forward. i hope those people who are or were like the victim i once was will chose to create their own path and ignore the haters who try to tell us we cant but we can and we will. we can and we will is actually a line from my friends salutatorian speech. i havent spoken to her i liked her because i know she is genuinely nice. well guys it is getting late so i have some things to get to. see you soon.

car issues!!

hello everyone!! it is a saturday and i am so excited for time to pass because of my big adventure next weekend. today has been a busy day from the start. last night i realised that i hadnt brought my swim suit back from kampar and i needed it this weekend so i was bummed so we went to the mall today to get a new pair. its really cute and looks like a cute zebra costume haha.
last night also happened to be a flooded time on the highway where we were driving fast and water got into our engine so it started giving a loud sound and the body was shaking pretty bad. we made a uturn to a mechanic and he got rid of the water and the shaking problem. when we finally got back on the highway we realised the weird sound issue was still there so a mechanic came to our house this morning. he came and talked a bunch about the car, some parts of which i understood.
today also was a day of good meals. lunch was seafood soup at a korean restaurant and it came with scallops and abalone slices too. pretty good stuff. then we went to get some green tea ice cream which my whole family loves and that was great too.
i want to mention something me and my mom saw this morning as we drove to breakfast. there was a motorcycle parked and on the bike was a child and i dont think she was more than a year old because she was very very tiny. thing was, she was sitting on it alone. she was part on the seat, part perched in a little basket thing in the front near the handle bars. i dont know where he parents were and why they would leave her alone, looking scared and doing nothing at all. yes that made me mad and sad a bit because she could have been kidnapped or the bike could fall if she didnt know better and jumped.
looking at these scenarios you also feel more grateful about your life. i and thankful for my parents who did a splendid job!
this blog post is going to be short because im tired. haha more news tomorrow okay! see you

ebike in utar-kampar

hello everyone!! it is an hour before dinner and the weather is relentless!! i have been steaming in my room since last night so i welcome this sudden change of weather! hi rain! just decided to drop by?! thing is, when i rode my ebike around this morning i felt a light drizzle but ignored it and it went away. im not to be frightened by itty bitty rain! stray dogs? yes. there were so many of them this morning and because the front gate was left open, a mottled one came in and hung out by the porch. i rode an extra round around the neighbourhood, giving it time to leave before i needed to go in.
i rode around yesterday too. but i had a major fall and went home really sad. then i got over it.
wait, do you guys know what an ebike is? its a bicycle that has a rechargeable battery built into it. like a hybrid motorcycle i guess. you dont need a license to ride one and it's pretty fast. the great thing about it is you can go fast without pedaling. it's actually pretty heavy although mine is supposedly the lightest model. you can find ebikes everywhere in kampar. i bought mine last week at a bike shop next to a place i get my vegan meal fix. it was pretty expensive so thanks dad!!
here's how it looks like:
i added a name plate. my friend got it for me when she traveled. i think it's cute

the battery! and always remember to wear a helmet guys!! safety first! you can also have a +1

i was considering skateboarding to class but then a nice board costs a third of the price of my ebike and is twice as dangerous so i settled for an ebike. no regrets though! course i could cycle but i wouldnt want to get to class all sweaty. there's a time for being sweaty and that's gym time not getting to class time. i would like to meet you if you are soon to be a utarian like your's truly.
oh yes, here is the tale of how i fell yesterday. i was testing out how my ebike would fare on the bike lane- it's narrow and rough. i didnt expect there to be such a steep slope and having never rode the bike over a slope before, i couldnt power the bike enough to get me up the slope. i decided to get down and push. i grabbed the handles and started pushing. how the ebike works is the 'engine' starts when you turn the handle. pretty neat isnt it? as i was pushing with by the handle, i accidentally turned the handle and it started to jerk forward really fast, i lost balance and fell and the bike fell too. youre actually supposed to turn off the bike when youre pushing it. it was really heavy.
i am so excited about my bike and i hope it fares well as it test it out on the main roads tomorrow. see you guys then! check out my super adorable marshmellow arrangement from my Lucky Charm breakfast this morning! cute right? i think it is!

hi there everyone!! today is the start of the week and i hope you guys are of to a fine start! it is 8.30 pm now and i just had an ice cream cone so i am energized!! haha
i woke up this morning to a great start! yay happy me and i even had a nice breakfast of this taiwan rice crackers my dad got me. it's really crispy but also good for you! it has been a warm day but i can without air conditioning. this afternoon i made yet another lego model and i hope you can show some support and check it out here!
okay let's get to the big issue here! yesterday was the finale episode of the kdrama strongest deliveryman. there are 16 episodes in total with i think is about the average length of all kdrama's. if you havent been following this series then i highly suggest you get to it now! the male lead- Gang soo, is a real heartthrob but he wouldnt be without his leading lady, Dana. episode 15 ended with him giving up hope on his business which was on the brink of failure. he left dana a note saying he cant face everyone when he has failed and to not look for him and he wishes her happiness. she then finds him at his hometown and he tells her to go abroad and dont look back, she resists and tries her best to talk him in to following her back to seoul. meanwhile, the other delivery guys are busy trying to save his business and they find evidence that the evil jeonga has sabotaged their diners. when gangsoo finally retured, they presented their evidence and put jeonga in bankruptcy! other than that hyunsoo discovers that gang soo is actually his real brother and gangsoo finds out the reason his mother left him, he forgives her in the end. also soon ae and the jajang chef get back their money which was stolen from them by a gang a long time ago. also minchan and yeongji end up together! it ends with dana fufilong her dream of being a college student and gangsoo comes with his cool bike to pick her up. also, oh jingyu and that other girl start a preschool together. that was the finale in summary!
i thought they rushed the ending a bit too much and i wished they gave more focus on hyun soo, gangsoo and their mom. also they defeated jeonga too easily so it wasnt as realistic as it could have been. i think the could have cut down a lot of redundant scenes like the ones where gangsoo make friends in jail of when jingyu was on the run with dana. not a well organised movie but i have to say, it ended well and i think they picked the cast well. overall, i wouldnt recommend it because i think the storyline could have have a clearer climax but i would give it 3.5 stars.
now for the colossal news of today! SEVEN RELEASED A NEW SONG MV! the title of the track is 'change up' and it includes the 3 leaders of seventeen! scoups, hoshi and woozi! the song is pretty good, has a great vibe and a lot of swag! scoups' hair made him look a lot like that big bang member with dreads. taeyoung? besides i thought that woozie looked like a real man in this video when he normally appears cute and sky in most videos. that's a good change of image for him. however i thought he looked a bit awkward when they had the freestyle dance part. good job seventeen leaders i knew a colab like this would be epic!
yesterday at the train station, i walked in this office place where they tell you all about korea's train technology! there's even a stimulator thing but it was under maintenance so we couldnt test it out. when we were about to leave, me and mom found this screen and printer thing where you can take picture and write a message and have a postcard printed! of course i wanted to play with it and have it tested out! it was fun!

this entire post is made up of korean news. i hope to have a wide social network of koreans so i can learn some korean. perhaps a snail mail pen friend? i would normally turn of the comments but since i am on the hunt for a possible korean tutor to teach me korean, i shall leave them on so you get back to me. remember i only allow positive comments. have a good night guys! see you tomorrow

eating fun times

hey everyone! it is 5.30pm on a sunny saturday and i hope that it's a sunny day where you are too. yesterday was my first time eating jajang noodles. i have some pics in my camera but i dont have it with me now even thought i really want to show them to you. time to steal some pics of the internet then.

hi! so that is a picture of a jajangmyeon. it's what koreans consider chinese food. it is basically a bowl of noodles with backbean sauce and veggies mixed in. because the bowl of noodles i had was from an instant pack it looked nothing like the above picture but it did smell nice and it tasted pretty nice too. okay honestly it just tasted like noodles with soy sauce. a really plain dish in my opinion but i know it must be something special since theres a scene of someone eating jajang in every kdrama ever. but really, just soy sauce. i would call it Kon Lou Mee (幹撈麵) which just means dry noodles, really common thing in malaysia.
im also currently following this series on iflix, Strongest Deliveryman. im not sure if i have talked about this here. i talk a lot about kdrama's and anime here. i wish i knew the korean language and then i could reachout to other korean bloggers or maybe become a beauty blogger myself because korean beauty products are bomb! anyways the main character in Strongest deliveryman delivers jajang and has a cool motorcycle.
omg speaking of iflix, my subscription is about to expire sometime soon and im a bit sad about that because i really like iflix so should i buy another year's worth of iflix? that really requires a lot of deep thinking.
yesterday i felt like i had a drama scene play out. i went out to get some pizza for dinner with my sissy. we placed our order then crossed the road to get to mcdonals for some ice cream. then it rained. not like a mild rain but a really heavy one where it feels you have a special colour blindness and can only see grey. there was no thunder or maybe it just couldnt be heard because the raindrops were thunderous already. perhaps they competed in the heavens and then the rain got mad and took it out on earth. really a bad time to have been out of the house. we didnt have an umbrella and we needed to pick up the pizza in time for dinner so we made a dash for it. instantly my body hurt. who knew that water could hold the wrath of a thousand samurai because it hit me hard. i tried to run but i lost a slipper and had to double back. that was my big movie scene. running in the rain and losing a slipper. i made it to the car safely though so all good.
today for lunch i had duck rice and it made me think that going vegetarian is going to be super hard because the meat was so good and the skin so crispy.
after this we are heading to dinner and i will have fried noodles ahaahaha so fun!
see you lovelies soon.

my takeaway from School 2017 kdrama

hey all! today is a highly anticipated day for us kdrama fans because... the finale of SCHOOL 2017 was aired today. i watched it on a couch at a hairdressers because it was available on VIU while i was waiting for sissy to get her bangs done and i couldnt wait to watch it.
if youve been a reader for long, do you remember how much i loved SCHOOL 2015? i went crazy over yook seungjae and nam joohyuk because they were most cool people ever!!! ahhhh!!! i had really high expectations for this continuation of the SCHOOL series and it definitely lived up to my expectations.
the leading couple, Ra eun ho and TaeWoon? THE PERFECT CAST! if im honest, initially i was a bit put off by the fact they looked obviously not high school age but i became so happy with the storyline i decided to fully enjoy the drama.
all the actors are playing student aged 18 but taewoon's real age is actually 27. he's super handsome with abs and a strong jawline and with multiple CHARMS.
here's the plot:
Eunho is an aspiring cartoonist with really bad grades so teachers tell her that she has no future as she isnt smart nor rich. she gets caught one day while sneaking into the teachers' office to steal her sketchbook that was confiscated. while she's in there, she's shocked to find a mysterious person in a black hoodie setting test papers on fire. hearing footsteps, he escapes out the window but she gets caught by a teacher and is sentenced to a disciplinary hearing and desperately tries to catch the actual bad guy to clear her name. when getting her sentence during assembly, a drone was flown in the hall, bearing the image of the principal with a big 'X' marked center, giving the 'hero' nickname X.
with her name cleared, she carries on her school life and befriends high school director's son, Taewoon. this was seungjae's character in SCHOOL 2015 and he did such a good job too! as time passes, more action happens with X, angering the school and they make Eunho a scapegoat, blaming her and giving her the punishments. around episode 10, she and taewoon get all sweet and eventually start dating. Yippie!! he tells her he is X but instead of turning him in, he and her become accomplices and they do heroic deeds, righting the wrongs of the school, exposing corruption and such. super raging, the school actually does find proof that Eunho is X and expels her without ratting out on taewoon. disobeying her, he confesses that he is X and attempts to get her out of her punishment but it didnt work. eventually he makes a deal with his dad to not expose secrets of the school and agreeing to study abroad in exchange for allowing Eunho to come back to school.
i also super love the background characters who eventually join in their effort as X.
1)Oh SaRang. she is Eunho's best friend and together they get bad grades. her mom is the school's cleaning lady but she is not ashamed and is super proud of her mom. she doesnt expect anything from her mom, doesnt dare to dream or have any ambition for herself but only wishes to make a better life for her mom.
2)Song DaeHwi. doesnt his name sound familiar? Dae Hwi is a member in popular idol group Wanna One who won in the competition Produce 101 season 2. this song daehwi however is the top student in eunho's class, ranking 1st and being class president. he lives with his alcoholic mom who runs a salon that doesnt make money. he resents being poor and works hard to make up for it and earn respect.
the storyline is great and i highly recommend this drama if you want something cute and innocent. cute and innocent are two words that i'd like to always use when i have to describe myself. my mom however, always gets mad when she hears 'cute' but i choose not to be affected by it. i have to be me even if it means going against her and being super cutesy. throughout the whole drama, the leading couple never kissed which i really love. they had one cheek kiss but that doesnt count. there was only one kiss scene but that was between eunho's teacher and his lady so they are adult roles so it's okay and it wasnt given much attention. i hate drama's with too much make out.
the focus was on how much eunho and taewoon cared for each other. like genuinely cared. he said this a lot in the drama, 'i'd do anything to protect her dream'. her dream was to get into university and become a cartoonist. he did so much to help her achieve it like he promised himself he would. that was amazing. it was very mature of them, (acting) 18 year olds. im going to choose my words carefully here, this is what i think love is: it's love when youre happy watching your love one being happy. it is in perfect alignment with the drama. i didnt know this before and honestly i am learning so much about growing up by watching all this drama's eventhough my initial reasoning was just to learn the language. yes of course i can speak little korean now given the amount of drama's i watch. i watched W-Two World the other day and i liked it. now i am following the drama Strongest deliveryman. both of this drama's have something similar to School 2017. keywords: cartoonist and motorcycles.
my takeaway from School 2017 is that you must never give up on your dreams. regardless what the mean people in school or outside of school say, you just have to protect your dreams and i really relate to Eunho. just like Eunho i have a loving family who supports my dreams and will do whatever they can to help me achieve them. i also have my two little nuggets, my best friends from highschool, who also support my dreams and encourage me. however unlike eunho, i have not yet found my taewoon. actually i have encountered many umm... inverse of taewoons? like the evil haters who always trash about my dreams. i realise that all the haters i have ever met are guys as in male. take a lesson from me so guys, please try to be more like girls. no hate.
i saw a missing cat poster this morning and that gives me an idea. i should make a poster saying 'WANTED: A GUY WHO WANTS TO PROTECT MY DREAMS' haha that would be funny.

busy me, always eating

hello everyone! i havent been on here for a long time so i'll fill you up real quick. i have been back and forth between kampar, ipoh and KL. it's really fun when you have so many places to be. i have nice pictures of yummy food i had during my travels though i would have more if i werent so impatient to eat my meal. here's some things i ate that i deserve some mention here in order of when i ate them.
1) salted egg chee cheong fun! you know the salted egg chicken? the chicken meat is fried first then stirred in a thick goopy sauce made of the yolks of salted eggs. this special noodle place i went to somewhere in sunway area smothered that yummy sauce all over the chee cheong fun and it was so good! i really would like to go back to that place but i really wasnt paying any attention to the restaurant i was at. the attached picture isnt mine because when my plate came over, i was so excited i immediately took a bite. i googled for a picture and this is the most similar i could find. some white noodles and some yellow sauce.

2) first time having pho at pho street. we decided to try out the restaurant after seeing that there were plenty of people inside. the menu was pretty lame and it was all overprice street food. soup was decent and the staff could have been friendlier but well, at least we tried and so check pho noodles off the list shall we?

2) on wednesday i went to pavillion mall to meet my high school best friend! she was almost an hour late so i went to a milkcow. they have one in ipoh but it's really far from my house so i have never been but i always wanted to try. milkcow!! it was really yummy and affordable too! apparently all their milkshakes are 10% off every wednesday! i didnt know that so i made a really smart choice to order one.
a honey milkshake for a honey
3) a hero themed meal!! at the DC COMIC CAFE! it was a really fun meal. they had burgers and pizzas, like any other western diner but with added fun! the presentation was so cool like my burger came in a bulky lunch box! and my friend's iced tea had superman logo ice cubes. the cafe was really small so we were lucky to have a table. they had cakes too. next to the cafe was their merchandise store. they had clothes, shoes, dolls and bottles and more, course they were crazy expensive too. but i really liked this store and would highly recommend anyone to visit.

4)dessert time!! so after all that shopping, course you get hungry again like really fast. i wanted to eat a dessert and what better place than a place that had the word dessert in it's name! i got a chocolate brownie and it was delicious! soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside. this dessert however simple will set you back rm20. oh well, i was a tourist after all. they had other things like thick toasts and waffles which is super cute.

4) Anpanman bread from a healthy bakery at ss2. he is chocolate filled and is the sweetest thing!

5)bak kut teh lunch! yummy meat and organs!! found this treasure near ss2 where the jaya mall is at. we were there to look for a powerbank because of the infinite mobile shops there. i got a nice white one! it was my first time eating dry bak kut teh and i really liked it even thought there were so many dry chilies. it smelled good too. the soup one was pretty ordinary, tastes good. one thing about the place was that the staff-servers were not friendly. in fact i thought they were rather rude. when we asked what's in their seafood hotpot, they ignored us and pretended they didnt hear. thats not a good way to run a business.

6) so im back in ipoh and missed sissy's birthday. it was a grand one for her. she had 3 big parties consecutively so im glad. anyways she let me have a bite of one of the many cakes she got. an uncle tetsu's cheese cake and this was no ordinary cake because this had sweet potato(sweet potatoes are the best) in it. i really liked it and isnt the illustration on top just too cute? so fluffy! so nice!

7) enjoying dim sum at the comfort of my own home! yesterday i had a swim lesson so i couldnt join the rest for dim sum and i really like dim sum so they bought some back for me and i was so happy! so nice isnt it? whats not in the picture is my beloved radish cake! sorry i ate it finished before getting my hands on my phone! the orange stuff is har gao which is prawn dumplings this batch in particular was amazingly yummy! the balls are just fish balls!

8) this morning's breakfast. japanese made cookies. i bought this while i was in kl at a japanese specialty shop! every cookie was lovingly filled with strawberry cream. okay i cant gurantee that but i hope so. every cookie also has a picture of a disney character which makes it so fun to eat that i choose which character to eat first after much debate. notice that there's belle there? okay so every packet has a character on it too like i bought the one that had belle thought i almost bought one with anna from frozen on it.

that was my food adventure for the past week. yes i didnt go to kl just to eat, i went skateboard shopping too. i might recommend that store soon if i do buy a skateboard. i have actually left out a lot of things(burger king and family mart ice cream!) because i was too lazy to take a picture so now i have learn my lesson and will try hard remember to take pictures! the week has been great though and i will see you in my next post where i will hopefully be able to talk about korean dramas. i will leave you guys with this picture i took of a bag of potato chips i bought because i had never seen anything like it before. i ate it on the train actually. it's very salty and very spicy just like actual kimchi. glad it was only rm3.

soy sauce green tea

hi everyone!! i hope this evening will be a fun one for all! i cant update you on my entire past week cause that would take too long to mention everything so i'll start with dinner of day before yesterday.
we went to subway and we were lining up. we were waiting for our veggies to pile up when two guys walked in but didnt join the line. thinking they were lost, sissy told them where the line was but they ignored her so whatever. then after a while they finally joined the line and we heard the weirdest thing! so subway adds triangle slices of cheese to your sandwiches and they are always arranged so the most pointy part faces the opening of your sandwich but those guys went ahead and asked them to be arranged so that the most pointy part faces the left so his meat filling wouldnt get entirely covered by the cheese. i thought that was really odd but people have their preferences. maybe it was a feng sui thing?
anyways yesterday i went to lunch with sissy and one of our friends. we went to this sushi place and we had our green tea served in a pitcher that had a lid. sissy was pouring her tea and she wanted to put the lid back on but she picked up the soy sauce plate and flipped it so soy went everywhere including into the pitcher. i freaked looking for the napkins but she was chill and was shocked when she saw soy everywhere! she was in her meditative zone i guess. her eyes were glossed over and she didnt realise the spill! when we cleared that up, she said, 'ah! should have taken a picture!' who would want to see a messy table of soy?
it was a fun time actually!
we went home and waited for our new internet to arrive. it was fixed really fast and now our internet download speed is 10 mbps hooraay! it's a special unifi thing we bought! internet is so important guys, so important. also while it fixed, we made spaghetti and it was amazing because there was a whole yellow onion in it!
this morning i went on a bike ride as normal and i saw a group of people hovering over the grill drain thing. they had sticks and brooms and she looked scared so i am right to assume that a girl dropped her phone into the drain and cant get it out. it was really strange cause for me, if i walk over those things, i tend to clench my phone or keys tighter.
in about an hour im leaving to an event with my sissy and im really excited because im going as someone's plus one! its a a big event so im really excited! this morning i was greeted with good news from my best friend! she is now a dating lady! so classy! hahah im really happy for her and i wish them the best! also we'll be at zoo negara this wednesday! how exciting?! okay i have to go get ready now. see you

Saturday 19 August 2017

just assure me that youre on my side

hey everyone! today is a weekend so you should be chilling at about now. i had a nice lunch after a chocolate breakfast. we went to a big mall to celebrate my sister's birthday today! we gave her her gift of a rm 250 gift card for H&M! it was really cute and pink and i left the cutest note ever on it! sure that's p&c now.
we ate, then we shopped! while having lunch, dad's dentures broke and he wiggled it in front of us but okay. i think i may have threw up in front of a meal before so i know accidents happens. i bought a DVD of the chinese drama series that i liked. love 020. yang yang is the best! then we headed home! of course we stopped at H&M before that! course i asked if we could get a baskins robins cake before that but we didnt.
i talked to both of my best friends last night. one of them is busy with her school play and it's so cute! i really want to support her and watch whatever is it and it's happening at a time where i'd be in kl too! but i cant go because i'd be staying a bit out of the way from her venue! anyways im so proud of her!! she acted last year but she'll be directing this year!
another friend who i really like to bug is off being with other smart people exactly like her hahahaha!
i did some really fun things by myself yesterday! i imagined that i had a converstation with seventeen in mandarin because they all became mandarin speaking out of the blue! it was so fun and the situation was that we were having a meal together!
last night i tried explaining myself to someone. i know the comments are switched off but i want you to just reflect to yourself. what if something happened that haunted you for over a year and youre on the brink of getting over it or just got over it. you forgave and you asked for forgiveness but the other parties just want to strike you down and it makes you shudder in fear and you want to let someone close to you know and just calm you. say something like 'you dont deserve a life of fear' or something like ''ignore the haters and you can trust 'me' to get you through it and forget the fear'' but instead you hear stuff like, 'you know you were in the wrong too right?' or 'you have to change yourself' and the you get so sick of hearing it, just so mad!! so you say, 'i dont need to be hearing that, i dont need to be hearing something i heard for a million times when the haunting just started' BUT, when you say that, you get scolded, ei why you so close minded? Why you so not teachable? Why you so sensitive?
Do you know how sick i am of those questions? I used to be sad when you gave me the look like you were done with me but now when you give me that look, i feel so mad.
I DONT NEED A REMINDER OF THE HAUNTING THAT IS NOT WHAT I NEED.
im not trying to teach or whatever. but wouldnt that happening make you lose faith in a person? repulse you so much that you swear you never want to confide in that person ever again?
i now swear silence and will be working alone happily. i wasnt planning a post today but i have to write to get this matter off my chest. i needed to see my thoughts in writing and now i feel better! okay i shall do something related to seventeen now.
