im orginal thank you

Hey gummy yummy! ive been lying on my yoga mat and now my notes are all on the floor but that's okay, i'll pick them later. i have so much chemistry work i plan to get done and i like getting things done! i woke at 8.15 and am so happy because there was french toast waiting for me and i made a cuppa coffee and it was bliss.
the house is so quite without sissy around but im happy because she's in the city and enjoying herself and i like her there cause it's fun for her. anyways im having much fun too. ma and i got sticker tattoos yesterday- mine's a panda and her's a rabbit! and they are so adorable. also we went to get ice cream yesterday before dinner and then a bento dinner after and i had a total of 3 eggs yesterday- one foe lunch, 2 in my bento and that was a lot even for an egglover like me. school ended late because i was having a blast doing a test i missed on monday. after that i left the office to find 2 of my classmates in a heated discussion with my homeroom teacher and they saw me and i just joined in. they were joining my bandwagon (honestly i am totally not surprised because as vain as it sounds i have always been a trend setter). they want out of school early too. meaning not finishing the school year but coming back for exams. now about the trend setter business, i always find people doing what im doing after ive done it like cutting my hair, and when i come up with a joke, it gets repeated infinite times by totally unfunny people but i dont get credited but it's okay, just shows that im original. now look, people want out of school too.
on monday night i went to a hairdresser with my mom and the dude totally commented that my hair's kinda thin and it got me feeling a little self conscious but then again i like myself a lot so whatever man. also i hate to admit i used to stereotype all men in the hair or fashion industry cause on tv they all sound possibly gay, not that there's anything wrong with that. the dude was just honest and he breathes hair so i will cut him some slack.
im going to prepare myself for lunch in a while but i have to bring up this new discovery i made thanks to ricegum on youtube. it's the huh challenge. gosh guys, i legit thought there was nothing more pointless than the condom challenge and the internet proved wrong. so how it goes is you randomly go up to someone, record their reaction to your insult and then end with you saying HHHUUHHHH! okay maybe it's funny if you did it to like a best friend and only your squad gets to see the footage but kids post this on internet for the whole world to see and some insults are really mean and the poor dude's reputation goes down the drain. i dont think that nice-ites are going to be trending any time soon on the internet, but then again guys the world doesnt have to know if your friend has no original teeth or a big butt. it's personal man.
for some reason my left ear is starting to hurt and im worried it's going to give a fever. lets not think about that. take care of yourselves ya. good day you lovelies

soaps and books

hey you gorgeous people!! i had a fun weekend and i was so engrossed in The Girl You Left Behind i couldnt separate myself from the couch long enough to do anything other than eat. this is possibly the first time im making an entry this early in the day but i am about to have a busy day at mi casa- Thanks Dora for teaching me spanish- so i will do this now and i feel so happy doing updates all the time. my sissy is leaving for the city in a few hours then it'll be just me and i dont know how to feel about that. it's going to be so much fun for her but then i'll miss her. gosh i'll just be numb toward any sentiments.
i should start my breakdown of friday+weekend about now.
on friday i went to school, played with my friend and that was about it. the action happened when i got home. i ate my rice, drank my honey water, watched glee with sissy and showered. the most fun of all, i made homemade soap. if you remember the list of my purchases i made while in kl last last week, i bought a soap making set at the craft store. i filmed myself doing it which i love doing but my camera is from the stone ages so it shut itself at the critical moment when i was adding the dye and the fragrant oil. that was one stress factor and another was i was working on the floor for maximum working space and the camera with the baby tripod has zero stability and i couldnt aim it downward without it falling into the soap mixture so i held it up with my feet. i worked on it until 5, and then went to my real happy place! Ipoh! we had the best dinner there in a mall. it's a korean restaurant we hadnt been to before but they had just renovated and we wanted to see what they are all about. it's pretty fancy and expensive but they have good food. we ordered grilled squid with veggies, a chicken bimbap and a kimchi bimbap. bibimbap is just a bowl of rice with a bunch of toppings and you stir them together and it's so good! it's like asian pizza! for drinks we had cinnamon tea and i didnt like it because the cinnamon smell was so overwhelming.
then we went to get a gift for my ol' homeroom teacher who just had a baby. i got her a baby bedtime book with sound effects when you press a button at the corner and it was so cute!! it was just puppy and kitten sounds and not so accurate but so so adorable.
at home me and sissy watched glee till bed time.
on saturday, i had a nestum breakfast. for lunch sissy went out so ma and i went to get sweet potato fries and nasi lemak. we met ma's former student and he told me about his math tutor who only takes his student by recommendation and he'll put in a good word for me! i thought that was really cool and that must be some elite tutor. im excited.
it rained after we got home and that was sad because we had planned to go to the fruit stall in the evening. then me and ma started on dinner. we had planned ham and bacon sandwiches but we found out that we were out on campbelle soup so we drove to the mall for soup and while we were there, we got korean instant noodles, beef flavored and and we had noodles along with sandwiches that night. i liked it and i loved helping make it.
me and sissy went to church that night and i went along with sissy's friends for supper and i had a chocolate drink before bed.
morning after, ma lovingly got me fried noodles for breakfast and i ate happy. i did some work after and then followed sissy to church at one. i hung around until 5, experienced my friend's driving for the first time and it was all okay.
i was wiped after that so ma treated us to kfc and we ordered a bucket and the chicken was so big, im having leftovers for lunch. we went home, packed and i wish so bad that we didnt have to leave. i worked on my video all last night and it only uploaded this morning so thanks wifi. you can check it out if you type DIY lavender soap into the search box.
yesterday night i had like a mini anxiety attack. i didnt see it coming because i had fun at church and it all okay. it hasnt happened in like 2 months but i had a bad headache, my hands were trembling and i was thinking all my dark thoughts at once and like always it centered around school and thats why im home if youre wondering. ive been meaning to mention it here for awhile but attempting to explain your fears is like being 30 and trying to tell your colleagues that you still pee on the bed. it's embarrassing, they'll ask what's triggering it and you cant explain why and they'll ask if you need help and you dont know if this 'help' will really help at all.
sissy has just left and i could really use a chocolate bar, though i cant explain my fears, i have a mantra that normally helps: you'll never be anyone else. you are an excellent person and you already are. i also regularly pray against curses or black magic.
that's going to be it for now and i love you lovelies. count the hours and make them count.

lab sessions

hello you with the internet! im using my bluetooth headphones and they work like a charm! you wouldnt guess it because it was so inexpensive, and a product from japan. retracing my steps, i just had a blackcurrant candy -my all time favourite sweet- and i just took a shower so i feel a little chilly now.
Dinner was the best: sushi! i had fried scallop sushi, salmon sushi and black pepper udon. good food! we went to the restaurant straight after school because ma had a meeting and i had to see the counselor for community college advice and it was all good. my last 2 periods of school were free periods and my friend wasnt around but i had earphones and the internet. lunch today was fried rice and i love fried rice only if ma makes it, else i think restaurant fried rices are often too oily. excellent lunch! first period today was bio in the lab and my friend and i totally embarrassed ourselves because the microscope was totally to smart for us. i plugged it in the socket and it didnt light up so my friend tried hers and it also didnt work so we switched tables and then they didnt work too and later she realized for both of us, the plug in the microscope side wasnt pushed in and after that they worked like magic and we felt silly. then again it's funny because it was the both of us.
yesterday i slept at 1am and i love being young now more than ever because i felt energized in the morning. i was working on a mind map for organic chemistry and there were so many reactions it took a while. halway through my work i thought, how would my life change if  had a hoverboard? i searched it up and it's trendy now so i would be the coolest kid on the block and possibly make more friends. it's crazy expensive so i would be put back a thousand bucks from my goal of having a million. it's a probably going to make fitter too because i would be visiting the park more often to rub in people's faces. point is it's cool but my big purchase now is a camera. im still counting on it.
i had to go home late too yesterday because i wanted to do an experiment in the lab and it was okay except i was counting on my friend to accompany me and i even carried her bag up a floor but she came, stayed for a minute and then left me with my tablet with my 12 songs. i had one song on replay: cancer by twenty one pilots. love it.
i should get to work and my headphones need charging. goodnight my lovelies

speechx

hola gorgeous people! i just ate a square of almond chocolate and i can feel the baby bits of nut stuck between my teeth. speaking of teeth, first thing this morning, my friend announced that she chipped a tooth with a fork during lunch the day before. and while on the subject of day-before(s), i missed school yesterday because i stayed up revising chemistry till 3am on a sunday night, and my get-ready-for-hel... erm i meant school -routine starts with waking at 6 which i successfully did but i was so drunk-tired that i couldnt see straight and fell so i worked from home yesterday and i thank God for a hard working spirit and sound mind that i can self study.
a fun discovery i had was that it's more fun to work with background sounds and it's exceptionally more fun when the background sound is an hour long motivational speech by this youtube channel: Your World Within. the discovery happened like this: i was watching interviews by my favourite DJ (also on youtube), ZachSang. then i got a little tired of it and i remembered my teacher last year remarking that i have a flair for speeches and i thought why not search up important speeches in history but then i found YWW and a speech compilation called DREAM and i liked it so much.
yesterday i had indian rice for lunch and i went out with the fam instead of getting a take away which i am so happy about, seriously no regrets. the food was good, i had rasam which is like indian soup and it was good. i worked till dinner which was yummy fried maggie. after dinner ma and i worked on a super secret form to send overseas and they had a lot of questions to ask in the form that i wont disclose here but what i did learn from completing the form was that my fam bought our house in 2005 and our car is 12 years old. we had Krispy Kreme doughnuts for supper and it was a fun time. also the doughnuts were the yummiest doughnuts in existence.
i woke up fresh and early today and i had an excellent breakfast thanks to ma because she made me special soft boiled eggs and i love to eat eggs. it was freezing in the morning as it was raining and i bundled myself at the dining table. when we reached the gates of school, i saw a kid in a cheongsam and it hit me that today was going to be some national day celebration in school. i wasnt informed and neither was my friend. the celebration was alright, not too festive, but a good reason to sit at the back of the hall and catch up with buddies after the holidays. classes were fun, i watched the life performance of close by chainsmokers with my friend and we agreed that the guy cant sing and he owes life to the discovery of autotuning.  after school ma had things to do so i couldnt go home till 4.30 which was okay just today because my friend stayed back too and we just hung out. when school was over, i got ice cream, buns and then went home. i showered, had dinner of curry fish, yummy!! it was so good and the curry was the best part. spicy food is just the bomb.
i'm half way through The Girl You left behing by jojo moyes and the story is so familiar. it's good, interesting, a real page turner but it seems to similar to a book by jodi picult: The storyteller. that was a good book. so good i chose to do a report on it for english class. i had an excellent way to explain the story, and i dressed as a nazi, with the swastika on my arm and everything. it was brilliant and everyone loved it.
im starting to feel thirsty from the chocolate so i guess i will you lovely guys tomorrow. miss ya

the longest weekend

hello you special person! i just had subway dinner and some sugarfree sweets as dessert. ive been dying to get online but i was away on holiday but im back now and that's excellent because i can post as much as i want here! school reopens tomorrow and that sucks but we all have our own battles to fight and maybe you like school but me? i'd rather be somewhere else in my thoughts. regardless, i hope everyone keeps a good spirit about the holidays ending, like i'll finally see my friend again.
here's a rough breakdown of my 3 days in the city:
friday we had an early start to catch the 9am train. woke up to scrambled eggs on toast and showered right after. dressed all pretty and got a cab to take us to the station. on the train i watched Avatar (the blue people one, not the nickelodeon show), and i finally get what the hype was about. it's an excellent movie, the animation was on point and the whole half human, half avatar thing concept is genius. the storyline, the climax, the science of it was flawless! and the morals and themes of it really made relevance to today's lifestyle, that men are greedy and nature is powerful thing that needs to be respected. when we reached kl we went straight to Pyramid mall to shop and got burger king for lunch. we had a nice seat at a table around a round balcony facing a pharaoh display. we walked around and i got a bottle of hard candy for myself which i left at my cousin's place. i spent a while at a few camera shops looking for a new camera to film my videos with. finally found one i really liked and it's way out of my budget. shocker. i guess the whole learning to edit and filmography was for nothing because camera's costs way more than they should and because the world is not advanced enough to realise that students need to be paid for being students. fun. i went to my aunt's place and i fooled around with the cousins until dinner which was at a fancy food court. it was the more expensive kind and i had some pasta, some chicken, some salad in a bowl and it was all fine but the best thing was my 100plus came in a mason jar and i love mason jars.
the next day i went to funtopia with the cousins and it was partly fun partly not so. i tried my hand at rockclimbing and it wasnt so fun because i was really afraid of falling but it was worth a try. i would rock climb again if i were with all my adult friends and there were cute instructors around. then lunch at naughty nuri's which was this shrine to pigs and just eat pork, pork and more pork also you get intoxicated while at it with this wide beverage selection at the bar. then at 2.40 i met my high school best friend at midvalley for like an hour because i didnt drive. we sat at coffee bean and just talked and it was so much fun to meet her because i've missed her since like graduation. there we saw a couple of parents dressed exactly like their kids or kids dressed exactly like their parents and gosh what horrible trend that was. after that i just stayed in the room till dinner. i watched some videos, studied and tried to do an online test but the internet wouldnt allow that so that sucked. i was looking forward to it doing it. dinner was a simple one in the house and i went to get capri sun for a drink after.
today breakfast was a heavy one of a whole serving of fried noodles. i took a shower and said my goodbyes to the aunt. it was all uphill from there. dad took me to get krispy kreme which is excellent and i chose such cool flavours and ma bought me some boost juice which is just as excellent! fun!! i love them! we felt snacky and went to a cute beef noodle place but only dad had noodles, me and ma had porridge. it was yummy! we just sat at the store then used a gps to get to this super cool craft store, Craftiviti. i spent about rm80 there on a soapmaking kit, a candle making kit and a cute japanese umbrella you get to paint yourself. i plan on making videos on all the kits so look out for them though i have no quality camera to film them with. the candle making kit has 4 jars so i thought one for everyone in the fam! fun!! we'll all do it together.
then we went to the train station and i bought some sweets, a book(the girl you left behind by jojo moyes) and wireless headphones from a japanese store. we had tea at paparich and it wasnt the best but it was good toast, the drink and desert not up to par. we got on the train after and then hello life in ol' grey kampar.
i guess i should be packing my bag for tomorrow. fight the sadness guys, school's going to be over and once it is, you'll be able to do something you love everyday. like posting on my blog. goodnight and think happy because your mind is a playground. and if you allow the bad thoughts in, they'll never leave.

train ride prep

hey hey you you!! im so stoked for my adventure to the city tomorrow!! kuala lumpur guys!! the taxi's taking me and ma over to the train at 9.20 in the morning and we'll reach in about 3 hours. dad says we'll go straight to sunway pyramid from the station to shop and i super love kl malls! not that ipoh is lame but the malls do kinda give this lackluster vibe and in kl it's all spirit! im hoping to get my camera tomorrow(about time!).
i have 2 bags packed, one for clothes and the other is for my phone and cash and sweater because im not at the level of womanhood yet to be carrying a handbag. legit i think i travel light so i have few clothes packed and it's all going to be fine because i might buy a blouse or two there. i will wear my new shoes on the train but i'll have my flip flops packed in plastic so i dont have to be wearing shoes all the time. but then again having 2 pairs of footwear isnt traveling light. fine. i will just wear shoes everywhere for the next 3 days. thought of wearing my contacts on the train but we'll see if there's time for that in the morning. going to kl is fun but look out for a big overseas trip im planning for myself next year.
im twice more excited about tomorrow because yesterday not much happened but i did go to the bank and the pet store and that was about that. we got hamster her anti mite spray and it smells really sweet.
today was an early start because my mom woke me with her thunderous footsteps. she secretly had gongs implanted to the soles of her feet. hahaha im just kidding. all love here! i had a cup of hot chocolate nestum and went to the bank the next second to get my documents i applied for the day before and the lady at the counter was really nice to us. she even gave us an envelope to put our papers in. after that i watched an episode of icarly, and then endured the hour long ride to kampar. hello! first thing i did here was eat mcdonals because it's happy food then did the most adult thing ever like clean my room. now it's clean and the evils of the world.
okay i just turned off my laptop by accident when i was going to press the backspace(excellent typing i have).
it's been relaxing today. i had a yummy dinner(thanks so much ma) at secret recipe. i had chicken lasagna and ma and sissy had chicken chops. plus, we had a chocolate mud cake which ma heard as 'smuck'. yummy food!
i'm going to drink a yakult after this and possibly watch another episode of icarly. goodness i wish i had a webshow as cool as that. and it all seems so effortless. my youtube channel isnt exploding with subscribers like i want it to be so i'll learn a thing or two from the show maybe. maybe i just need a blonde friend. brilliant idea. seriously though, i want a cool webshow. and i will work towards that regardless.
have a good night everyone and have fun fun fun!!

got my passport back

hello good people! it's tuesday and just 3 days shy of a big adventure in kl! love you holidays! i just fed the baby hamster her medicines and she's healthy as a horse! yesterday after a roti canai breakfast, dad brought her to a different vet for a second opinion and when we walked in, the lady at reception went all, 'we cant treat hamsters, just dogs and cats'. someone's going to have to close the clinique. it's at the tambun-sunway area, with glass doors in a wooden frame. that's a phony vet they've got there. i'll probably get my doctor's degree tomorrow and i hate judging people's occupation, but it's really not hard to diagnose a hamster. my dad did swell with the help of the internet. seems like she might have mites and anti mite powder will help. that's a project for tomorrow.
we went home, had lunch at a food court we havent been to in eons. it's big, yellow, with many empty stalls. i got yummy chee cheong fun, ma got curry noodles and dad got bak kut teh! all goody and delicious!my meal came the last because they had to prepare it perfect for me but i ate bak kut teh too. i liked the curry soup too but it was a little oily. we didnt have any drinks accompanying our meal because the business didnt want our money so we brought it elsewhere to be better spent.
at evening-time, dad took me out driving and there were so many close calls. i drove really carefully but then there's bumps, crazy adults and bigger cars. but it was fun! driving is easy! me driving in circles took up plenty fuel so dad drove to a petrol station where i got ice cream for us! i tried a new pomegranate flavor one by walls and it tasted like strawberry. we got home about dinner time and ate at a chapati place, but only ma ate chapati. me and dad got fried noodles with prawns, fish cakes, pork and liver. came with a good sause too. and for fun we got onion rings for everyone(total rip off, it was 50% batter). it was a good dinner and we went to a bakery next for the next day's breakfast. i saw a pokemon cake and mirangues but we got butter bread and that's good too.
i had a super early start today at 7am to get to the immigration office. i had chocolate oats and a shower and then wore my sissy's pretty clothes and off we went. we reached the building at 8 but the doors opened at 8.30 and a line had already formed so we just stood there, on our phones. when it door opened, doubtless someone must have lost a baby and then the stampede killed it. my goodness! it was a scene from the Darkest Hour! pushing, running, and the pushing goodness! we ran too of course, just cause we didnt want to miss out on the adrenaline rush and we got a good number in line until the uncivilized animals in disguise of unflattering humans, started cutting lines and earned their spot in the zoo, lost their place among humans. we waited and it was fine, because we the good, respectable humans of today, got our numbers in a dignified way. there is no greater evil than line cutting, kids listen up. patience is a virtue (unless you're waiting for a brand new camera).
while waiting i watched a movie on my tablet: crazy stupid love. ryan gosling abs got me really excited. i got to take a new picture and the officer had to check my past travels in the system because the old passport didnt show that i got back from the UK. while waiting for the passports, ma went to get her drivers' license renewed and that was a long wait too(dad had to pay multiple parking tickets). we got our business done by 11 and went for brunch at a pork noodle place and i had mine with added egg for FUN! dad got me crispy stuff to eat along and that was nice too!
i just sat home and did holiday homework until 5 because then we went to the train station to send dad back to kl.
ma and i just had a sushi dinner and ice cream. we had salmon roll, cucumber roll, and the yellow pickled radish rolls. showered, and it's bedtime. goodnight lovelies

Sunday 11 September 2016

friday, yesterday and today

hi you guys!! i missed school on friday so not much action there, except my sissy forgot that i was home and we shared a cup of bubble tea she bought. we had to pick my dad at the train station that night so we got a takeaway dinner of claypot chicken rice, chili aubergine, and (believe it, it made me happy) chocolate egg waffles!! i liked the waffles most but the rice was good too. we got to the station late but the world didnt fall apart so we're good. that night the hamster got really sick and we brought her to the vet the next morning.
it's saturday morning and sissy woke me and i got ready for breakfast in a minute. we went to mcdonals and we always enjoy mcd breakfasts but that particaular day all the workers were working at half speed and i wouldnt be surprised if they were all drunk. there were 3 counters but only one was open, there was a long line but the staff didnt seem to care get the line moving faster, when it was our turn, the lady at the counter gave my breakkie wrap to the lady next to me and it was so my order so she said to sit and she'll send it over when it's ready which was a very long wait and waiting-especially for food- is the worst thing in the world next to killings in the basis of religion. but we ate happy and that was fun so all good! we went to tesco next, to get instant noodles and snacks and we had fun there too! if you're on the hunt for crispy grubbies, try this pathetically named snack, WALLA WALLA! it's so pretty to look at and it tastes good! then we went back to get the hamster and we took her to the vet in this leopard print animal travel bag and she didnt like the confined space, her cage is pretty big see. the guys at the counter made us wait because there was a cat in surgery before us and the place reeked! the smell was so bad and it was such a small space and no ventilation but the airconditioner. when the doc met the hamster it was like a 5 minute consultation. he said she's got a skin problem and it's infected because her wood shavings are dirty. so her wound's really bad and he asks if she's got a partner and i find that a little funny because she doesnt. he gave 2 medicines to be taken orally and we brought her home with us to ipoh. we might take her to a different vet tomorrow.
we missed church because of the traffic on the highway! on a regular day we travel for 45 mins tops. yesterday, it was 1 and a half hours. we were so wiped by the end of it but we had a yummy dinner of oyster noodles and soy bean. love noodles so much! later we went to get Hokkaido cheese tarts which i have been secretly dying to try. thanks so much ma for making me a happy girl! it was not the cheapest thing ever but then again i dont go blowing money like an ass so i thought this was well deserved. buying it made someone bitter but whatever. it was pretty good to be honest. it was smaller than i hoped, but the cheese was rich and had a good balance of sweet and savory, the pastry was crispy and dense, yummy! i will attempt to make this one day and you'll hear all about it.
later an old lady greeted us and she was so sweet saying i looked so pretty and polite(im really not vain). after she left we laughed among ourselves because non of us knew who she was. hahahahahha
we've reached today morning! it was excellent, really blessed! had an early start and a healthy breakfast of nestum. our plan was to go to the immigration office to get my passport renewed and i dressed so nicely for my picture and it was some murphy's law joke that the building was closed. darn. anyway, we went to tesco again for detergent and juice and then to 2 different pet stores in search of alternatives to wood shavings-non. then i went for a manicure and i am so stoked about this! i thought it was superbly inexpensive because it's only like my second time ever getting a manicure and the first time was on holiday in melacca and that was some crappy store and i doubt the lady does her own nails. today was a good one, the lady gave me a scrub, added some sweet smelling oils and creams and then she painted my nails a really cool geometric design! im all for manicures now.
then me and dad got kfc for lunch after visiting another pet shop(this one sold pet strollers...what world is this?!).
we had dinner at 6.30, a yummy one with noodle soup, chicken and chicken liver!! it was delicious!! thanks pa for making me a happy girl! we were so stuffed by the meal we went to a mall to walk around and get exercise! i met a teacher at a grocer, and watched a chinese classical music performance and got a greyson chance magazine! nice!
it's late and i miss my sissy! i love her a lot! i realise im typing plenty of short sentences like i would when i was eight and those were the good ol' days! life's fun. never question that, never fight that! goodnight you lovelies.

Thursday 8 September 2016

field day

hello you. how's it going? yesterday was a field day because ma was on medic leave and i took an off day too. so the day started really early for me and sissy. i had chocolate oats and crackers with jam and it was good! then i got hungry within 2 hours and had 3 chocolate cookies. i had did a chapter of bio before a fried rice lunch with marmite soup(all it is is a tea spoon of marmite and hot water). then i binge watched family guy which i am so not proud about but that's done. in the evening i made an appointment to get a manicure done on 4pm coming saturday which is a crazy adult thing to do and im so happy i did it. that would the second manicure in my life, the first being in a little nail place in melacca while on holiday. okay i really regretted that one because the design was so simple and it cost me rm60. a chubby lady did it for me and she was so-so but had really good nails. it lasted for about 5 days before it started to peel off because like an NORMAL teen, i help with dishes and other not-a-brat activities. this time i'm gonna try to make it last. this is so very exciting and i cant wait. dinner yesterday was a noodle dinner with cold tea. yummy!
today's breakfast was the same as yesterday and i went to school early yay! there was a scavenger hunt for bio and i had the best team and it was fun even if i was soaked with sweat by the end if it. my teacher was really prepared for this hunt-she even made a blog just for the scavenger hunt. it ended 15 minutes early and gosh it was just fun! chem was fun too! we started with a quiz on this site: kahoot.com and i got the nickname 'unicorndefender' and i gave my friend 'bunnyonfire'. it was hilarious! after that we did past year papers and during then me and my friend discovered that someone made a facebook account with her name and it's so funny.
lunch was a cheese and jam sandwich(jam so it wont be dry). yum! math class was next and it was good too. then i found out that polytechs in singapore recognize the SAT qualification and i was like whoa singapore is crazy advanced!
dinner was rice, chicken and veggies. my tablet is charging! also have you seen ricky dillion's latest video?! i just did and i so relate guys. gotta see you later!

Tuesday 6 September 2016

2 days in one

hey there you! it's tuesday and the most eventful tuesday ever. let's go over monday first. the first thing that happened was i got a postcard from a former class teacher who just got back from uk after completing a master's degree in cambridge. it was a picture of a cow lying in a grassy meadow looking so content with a great hair do. i wasnt expecting any gifts from this guy so a postcard was going above and beyond.
i did some peer assessment with my friend and it was fine. i had a cheese sandwich for breakfast and then i did a physics practical which was also fine and my graph was perfect. then i did some really fun math and i'm not kidding, it was fun. then i did a bio practical and my benedict's solution took forever to heat up but it's complete. then before heading home, i met a dude i asked to sell my old phone covers and he handed me my part in the sales and i made rm30 just like that. i used the cash to get me and sissy ice cream! yum! then i went home and slept till dinner. then i did homework and research on nursing schools in singapore.
okay listen up world! if you have no idea what to do with your life or if you are broke and in need or money or if you're like me and want a plan B for the epic plan A that you have for yourself, GO STUDY NURSING IN SINGAPORE! here's why: a)it's free, the hospital will sponsor you and you pay basically nothing for a diploma-in today's economy, no one's a big enough jerk to complain about free education. b)you get an fat allowance every month. i think it's about SGD950 which i think is so fat a lump of money that the self esteem fat camp kids will just skyrocket at a glance. c)singapore is so so cool! there's a universal studios and fast wifi and it's a first world country the size of a pea.
after thorough research with my mom, i labeled that my plan B. plan C would be germany...possibly?
i love doing research! canada has a really good nursing school in Queens University but it costs all four limbs to pay tuition.
today was a good one. i had a heart attack first thing when my friend didnt show up and she couldnt be absent because there was gonna be a huge physics things going on. then halfway through assembly she appears and apparently there was an accident involving a truck with wooden planks. first thing today was everyone was in class was introduced to the 8 trial students from pui lam considering a levels in school. the class doubled in size just like that. they were nice but super shy and i guess who could blame them. one kid, rick, was really bright, he had plenty of things to say even during physics and he had a little 'stach that was so cute, like his eyebrow decided to mate, reproduce and raise it on the upper lip region. then for bio we played games and i just yelled at people a lot. it was fun!
so the gang of trial kids commented that school food was good and cheap and i laughed because regular students know it's bad and overpriced but then they're new and everything seems to glisten. i know i love new places too. cool story, during math i usually have my earphones on because it's easy and i'd much rather be listening to my greyson chance than chatter of people because my friend and i have different math periods.
dinner today was sooo good i ate a healthy portion. sissy made yummy fish cutlets and spicy fried rice. and we had soup from yesterday that tasted even better today. dinner is always a happy phenomenon.
lately ive been watching a of family guy and it's so funny. if you follow the series, quagmire is my least favourite character and i love stewie. perhaps i'll watch one now. see ya

love weekends

hellooooo gorgeous people!!! it has been such a blessed and positive weekend for me i wish it would never end but i'm thankful regardless. i went home to my happy place, ipoh on friday and the first thing i did was i got my new stock of contact lenses. then we had a taiwanese dinner. the mall is going through a makeover and this steamboat place we like is still going through construction so we tried a new place. ma and sissy got handmade oyster noodles and it was so good and the soup had a nice sour-spicy kick to it. i had a taiwanese egg crepe and it was like a regular savory pancake i would get elsewhere so i was deceived. it was a good meal and we ended with a cup of chatime after. we went home and got dressed for a movie. i decided we watch Kubo and the two strings and i liked it(options were Kubo or Pete's Dragon and i'd like to think i made the right choice). the movie was in the smallest hall in the cinema and there were like 4 groups of people-my fam included- there was a couple i guess was on their first date because they looked really awkward, a dad with his boy, and a family with many kids. our tickets said the movie was to start at 9.10pm but by 9.20 there was no sight of the commercials yet. ma went to get a staff and they said there's been a technical difficulty and by 9.30 the movie was playing. the setting of Kubo was in a japanese village and Kubo was a one-eye-blind storyteller who made magic origami. his mom is some magical creature from heaven but was banished when she married Kubo's dad and had Kubo. there's traces of the afterlife in there and reincarnation so it's a very asian movie and you'll need to know your Buddhism facts right to understand. In a nutshell, Kubo loses his parents and fights his grandfather himself with his magical guitar strings and wins. the movie wasnt child friendly, i got scared at so many parts and a lot of fighting went on. but there's funny parts in there too and you'll laugh so loud just cause the cinema's empty. sissy liked the animation because it was the boxy kind and really cartoony not the realistic kinds like Epic.
the next day i woke up to a fried noodle breakfast and then a roti canai lunch. i set out with ma to get groceries after lunch and when were going to the supermart we saw a really long line of people wating. it was like half a kilometer long and i told ma that if they're waiting for a celebrity autograph, i want one too. i had no idea why i said that because a) celebrities never visit ipoh and b)i dont really care about celebrities unless it's Greyson chance. the last time i waited in line for an autograph was when i was 6. ronald mcdonal was going around taking pictures and signing mcd's brochures and i wanted one i got it but no one know where the picture is now. i remember being a very happy kid after that. turns out the line was for a new cheese tart stall that just opened and it's supposedly very good and made Hokkaido style. i laughed at the people waiting in line when i found out and got my groceries and left the building. i had a chapati dinner with satay on the side and i ate with my hands which was fun. straight after dinner i went to to church and enjoyed my time. it was an early night for me that night.
today morning i woke at 9.30, an hour later than i would have liked but it was fun. my gorgeous sissy brought me to breakfast and then to sports direct to get our shoes and leggings. i got the shoes and she the leggings. there was a sale so i got a buy one free one shoe offer and i got so excited i didnt try the shoes on properly they were 2 sizes too big for me. at 1.30 i went to church, left early when sissy came to get me and we went back to change the shoes. we had our tea at kfc and it was raining so heavy there was a mini flood and i worries about sissy's car. i had a diner of noodles and that's fun.
i didnt do any filming or video-making this week because a) im still mad my last video got a copyright band and b)i havent bought my new video camera yet. im surprised by my patience because if you know me, im very impatient.
i havent had any water in the past 4 hours. gotta drink up. you too okay. take care and find fun. see ya

game of thrones book review

you're nice! hello!! yesterday was a holiday and it was a good one! happy 59th malaysia! i guess every holiday is a good one. still counting on that breakthrough for the nation! you'll get there msia! not much action yesterday but i did finish 'a game of thrones' the novel yesterday.
basically there's a main king and there's smaller royals but not exactly kings and they're in the north south east and west. the family in focus is the stark family of winterfell(the smaller royals i was talking about) and i know now why everyone's saying, 'winter is coming'... it's just the family motto. weird. moving on. the king has 5 kids and a kid he had when he was cheating on his wife(a bastard kid, they say). the bastard becomes a guard of this magic wall that protects the world, the eldest son becomes king when the dad gets killed, the second son becomes crippled when the king's wife tried to kill him and the youngest son is the lamest character ever. the first daughter is a total princess character, so full of herself she makes a fool of herself. real nasty and is betrothed to the big king's son. the other daughter is everything the eldest isn't. she's nice to most, even the bastard and she's not a damsel in distress, knowing her way with a sword. there's an enemy to the royals, a pregnant 14 year old and her abusive brother, both sick in the head and think they are teenage mutant dragons.
a lot of death happens in the story, and a lot of mention of the word 'manhood' and 'breast'. you have every reason to think this book inappropriate to readers below 18 years of age. i wouldnt recommend this book to be frank. it's draggy and violent with a hint of porn. a better book of this genre is Lord of the Rings! love it! one thing i gotta say, i like the idea of having a betrothed, and i mentioned this to my friend who then pointed out that i was too old to have a betrothed.
once that was done i made a popin cooking burger set and i had a blast making it. it got a little gross when it came to mixing the powder especially the meat but it was fun to assemble it all. best part of all was filming me do it and then edit it! the camera was a jerk as always but fun is all that matters. i loved how my editing turned out and uploaded it in 2 hours only to wake up to an email saying my video will be muted because i had added cake by the ocean as my background music and that got reported so now i breach a copyright agreement, darn. oh well. choose your battles.
today i woke up to honey water which i hadnt had in a very long time and i love it! i used to drink it a lot when i was younger and i had a church choir gig and then to make my voice sweet my dad would make me honey water and i liked it. this is different honey though. this one's organic and from the wild and sounds like fairy food.
went to school, played with my best acquaintances, had a fantastic lunch of maggie! i just got back from a japanese dinner of rice, miso soup, fried chicken and tea. it was good and i liked the tea best because it was raining crazy i got cold. we sat next to a window and once we were all done eating, i spotted a cop giving our car a ticket. then sissy ran out in the rain to tell the ghastly police that we shouldnt be given a ticket but they are just doing their job(for once, and even this surprises me). so we have a ticket and a yummy dinner. to keep the spirit of positivity even during the hardest of times, we reminiscence on the time our maid stole the only jewelry i owned and that she's a nasty one.
i have to hydrate now but im having a fun time here. it's late and you go get some shut eye. see ya
