met a new dude

hello you lovely people! i havent updated in a while and im so ashamed that i say that more often than a hardworking gal like me should. on sunday i went to church after a long absence and i had a good time. traveled to alien-land after -cause i go to school- and i turned one of the rings i got from cotton on onto a pendent. i weaved some thread and looped it so the ring's a charm on my neck now. 

yesterday i went to school, and two really fun things happened. a)my friend and i made a banana scent ester during chem or so we thought. it was a horrible smell. b)me and that friend were the only two to not get punished for a game we played during bio.

dinner yesterday was at 5pm which was early and i like early dinners. even better was it was a sushi dinner and i got raw fish! conveyor belt sushi is the only way to eat japanese and have fun while eating.

today i hit the ground running when i woke up(literally). ma and i had planned a flag bunting spelling birthday wishes for sissy and i was going to put it up last night but i couldnt without waking up the whole nation. i couldnt see the tape so i thought of doing it once i woke and i am so happy i did. it is so beautiful and so fun to do. my heart is beating so fast now, no idea why. anyways, ma made a french toast breakfast with sausages and i liked it. i just had the heaviest tea time ever and so content right now- how do you cure a food coma? i went to get cake for sissy after school and we got cheese cake, cornish chicken pie from secret recipe and buttered buns from rotiboy. they were all yummy and all high in carb content so i think i will just not eat for the next year or something. speaking of food, i had a fun conversation with a trial student, kyle from Philippines about their version of Kfc, JOLLIBEE!! what an adorable name! he's been here since he was was 12 and like me, was once homeschooled. he's really nice and this morning i was assigned to show him his seat in the assembly hall. he asked questions and i and i answered which is how i like my conversations best! interview style!

a mall day for sissy

blessings upon the person reading this! hi!!! i had planned a post for yesterday but i was busy filming a video. not the video i'm most proud of but no one died trying and i'll just put my best effort henceforth. i reached home at 8 and went to get my dad at the train station at 9.30 and then supper after. sissy had other plans. so we went to an ice cream parlor for supper but the service was slow and we were a hungry people so we crossed the street to a food court and had the most beautiful array of food. there was chicken noodle soup, bean sprouts and chicken liver, deep fried mantis prawns, and char grilled fish( Portuguese style). i was really content after that and went to bed happy, at 2 am, not at all disappointed for the missed ice cream. 

i woke at 10.30 and didnt want any breakfast so we went straight to the mall for an early birthday lunch for sissy. first thing we did was drop by H&M to use our vouchers we got from recycling our old clothes. i got a lovely knitted sweater and my mom got shorts and sissy got overalls. the shoes there are gorgeous though! a pair of blue sneakers with daisies are impossible to hate. we went to the supermart next to get edamame and prawn salad for snacking on and i got a popin' cooking burger edition. i will make a video of that soon. then we went to our favourite restaurant: NANDOS!! we love their chicken and it was wonderful! me and sissy had a laugh hours ago when i misread my foundation brand as periperi(nandos sauce) when it's actually Peripera(korean make up brand). we went to Cotton On next and i got 2 tank tops and 4piece ring set. really happy that they're on sale! i love the rings and i dont like to accessorize so that's saying something about those rings and i'm making a statement of emphasis to my devotion to Greyson chance because he always wears a golden ring when he's performing. i'm wearing them right now and feel like such a lady. it's always the little things.

then we went to daiso to get the replacements for the mop part that always gets dirty.   

we got Baskins robins before heading back. once home i just stayed in my room, on the lappie and books. also i'm still searching for a youtube camera.

at 6 we went to the stadium for dinner and i had fried noodles. we went home to drop sissy off because she had other plans and the rest of us when to the train station to get tickets for a kl trip during the school holidays in september. i love train rides and i hope to vlog the entire experience given i get my camera soon. there werent many people considering and we got to the counter not long after getting our number. after getting our tickets we stopped by the park opposite for the fountain show and i ran among a\sprinkles of water and it was so fun and i was so happy and a white butterfly sat on me. i like going to kl because that's where all the big malls are and i get to meet family.

my high school best friend has a play going on before my september trip and it's killing me to miss it. i miss her and definitely want to show some sort of moral support but i'll just have to do that like 400km away.

i'm hungry for green grapes and i wish you happiness and rest! goodnight

filming days again

Greetings my homies!! yesterday ended super abrupt and i'll make up for it today! i woke up at 9.45 and im glad for it! thanks sissy for making me sausages for breakfast. love you!! i had konnyaku jelly with my breakfast and it was so good! sissy bought them too. it came in 6 flavours and i ate a strawberry one shaped like a Hello Kitty. off to a great start!

i took a bath then clipped my hair up nicely and started filming a new video, with a script i wrote yesterday inspired by a conversation with my friend about commercialized education. i had a full battery but i had to run tests for lighting, and positioning and the first time i did it my speech wasnt clear and i didnt like it. i was halfway through my second take and then my camera ran out of battery and died without a warning and now the footage is gone. i legit need a new camera NOW! okay keep calm, first world problems much! i like making videos but with so many issues to overcome i was getting really mad about it. also i cant stand windows movie maker! what good does it do?! if some kid asked me to spell out useless it'll be m-o-v-i-e-m-a-k-e-r. i cant use sony vegas that nearly destroyed my computer because i downloaded it with a krack file and somehow my computer got overtaken. i downloaded filmora for free legally and i'm happy that it does more. 

to chill after all my battles with life i finally cut my nails. i had planned to get a manicure during the next holiday next month and i wouldnt agree to fake nails so i was going to let the white parts grow for like a wee bit. LONG NAILS ARE THE MOST ANNOYING THING EVER. maybe it's that i used to play the piano, or that i was in a very strict school for most of my life but i cant stand long nails and i'm glad that are short again and i dont get eraser dust under my nails anymore. i will say though, i liked the tap tap when you type really fast on your phone.

i had an instant noodle lunch and then Game of Thrones and then watched celebrity interviews on youtube and took notes and i cant wait to try the secrets one day on the millions of people i will one day interview.

my tea time was cracking sunflower seeds with my mom and hamster. then we went out for a sushi dinner and i had a scallop bento and it was just processed fish meat shaped into a scallop and deeo fried but i loved it because eating was fun. 

after dinner we went to the supermarket to get juice and while we were there i found my childhood snack: diction!! it's chips that come with a cup of tomato sauce and i used it get it all the time. i want to eat it so bad right now but i wont cause im full. i just watched an episode of family guy and laughed loads but what was funnier was halfway a cobweb from the ceiling was slowly descending and i was like, 'I'LL CATCH IT' and my sissy laughed and jokingly asked if i was smoking weed and i found that funnier than family guy. 

i need to go show my mom what filmora can do! fun!

my greyson chance obsession and food

hey you! i wasnt the most exciting person yesterday, taking a day off from school and doing my own schoolwork along with the effort to complete the Game of Thrones book. it's coming along well, and it's probably about time for me to start watching the series anyway. yesterday night i had an idea so brilliant the sky went dark for me to light up. if you have been in anyway in contact with me for the past month my obsession with greyson chance is past breaking point. i really want to meet him and i know he was in malaysia 2 months ago but i couldnt go out to meet him cause i live far away and i happen to be taking a college course with exams and tests year round. lucky for me, im about to get a new video camera(still experimenting with the whole youtube-ish) and i have a bestie who can sing as well as i can count. the plan is upload a Greyson chance cover and pray it goes viral that Ellen or someone else sees it and takes us to him! it's a long shot but better than no shot i guess.
another exciting part of last night was i made the decision to get my teeth whitened and i am so excited for it. im finally taking good care of myself!! then i will look gorgeous for greyson chance!
i made the decision to go to school today which i started to regret by second period. it was a long day today with school ending at 4 and i didnt pin my fringe up and i had 3 periods without my bestie and i had to see the evils of the world but today i make the choice to focus on the happiness of the world.
i had a yummy lunch of fried noodles from home today and it made me happy. Ma fried it with woodear which is a black muchroom thing which is crisp and gelatinous at the same time. i love it and i know it's good for your heart and my friend had never seen it before and made a point of having wine the night before which is also good for your heart. somewhere along the conversation i added drinking wine from a barrel to my bucket list.
i was gonna talk about manicures but i have to get my ice cream now. see you tomrrow! goonight sweets

hello people on the web! i am in kampar and im so tired, i will pass out from exhaustion some time soon. i woke at 12pm yesterday and it was such an amazing feeling. my breakfast of nasi lemak was actually my lunch. after eating and all that morning routine-protocol things like brushing teeth and showers, i worked on a 3d model of the Tower Bridge in London(step-to-step here with narration: the video ). it was a gift from my dad post SAT and i finally had time to work on it after trials. i had so much fun working on it and uploading it on youtube. i actually took hours to edit and then had a heart attack when my laptop crashed from a virus and then luckily i fixed the matter in time. honestly this is the video that i am most proud off. compare it to previous vids, this has way better content and quality and im going to keep filming and editing until i find my style of videos and thank you internet people for your support! i wont give up!
when i got off my laptop, it was about 6 so i rested and ate an apple pie for my dinner because i was never less hungry but dinner is a must. how could i be hungry when i didnt do anything but lie spread eagle on my bed for the whole day?
at 8pm i was at the train station waiting for my sister and i saw a superb sight. the train station faces a park, and on the park there's a huge screen and it normally plays ol' commercials but yesterday was the Olympic's badminton game and malaysia was playing for the gold. there were so many cars parked and so many people just stated on the grass huddling, watching the game together. if that wasnt patriotism, the word doesnt exist. that was really a cool thing to witness and i wanted to sit on the grass to, just to join the fun and watch the match unravel on a huge screen but i watched on the couch at home with my mom and sis and it was fun too... except the part where malaysia lost. i rooted the for LCW the whole way and i know he did his best buy chen long got the better of him. if chen long hadnt defeated my country's campion, i'd say he was the most handsome guy i've seen! He's tall, muscular and had such nice skin, why badminton?
i went to bed at 1 but didnt sleep till 2, reading the Game of Thrones. watch out for that review!
today i woke at 8 sharp because i had to pee but then i realised i didnt have to pee but i merely had a dream i was peeing, hahha. i a hot drink for breakfast and then KFC for lunch! i was home alone the whole evening and i worked on scripts for my coming videos and i am so excited to show you my coming projects.
i am actually planning to purchase the Canon Legria mini x! i love it so much and it is so adorable! i honestly am so excited i hope you'll follow along and subscribe to my channel: BookSwallowerDiary and do leave comments of how i can improve and make better videos!

BFG movie review

hey there! i'm feeling sleepy at 2pm, a post pizza meal side effect. i had a pizza dinner last night and the delivery guy was the funniest delivery guy i've met. so we live on third floor of this apartment and ordering pizza's a chore because you have to stick your face close to the door to hear the delivery guy honk else no one will get it. yesterday's guy walked up the stairs to our floor and when he came up he was panting so hard it was funny. kudos to his effort though! today's lunch was reheated leftovers and it's pretty good. then again, there is never a negative adjective for pizza.
sleeping was hard again for me last night, i sweat through the night. today it was hard to wake, having lost so much sleep from the heat, also did i mention it's hazy!
I had the perfect physics paper today! my experiment worked and my graph was immaculate! yes im confident about this. i had fun doing it though i sat far from my friend. to make up for possible fun lost from sitting apart, we made up with a badminton match after the paper. i'm an okay-okay player and im pretty sure she's a state player so you can guess how that went. i had immense fun though i felt embarrassed about missing a hit here and there. speaking of 'hit', i laughed so hard watching jacob sartorious's 'hit or miss' music video.

i left school at 11 and had lunch, took a bath and just laid on my bed reflecting on life and synthesizing possible videos to make. by 2.15pm i packed to head home to ipoh. the car ride was fun with me singing to my bae Greyson Chance!! i know he was in malaysia like super recently and i want to yank my hair and flip tables that i missed a chance to meet him in person. someone please work some magic and get me to see him in the flesh. i have been searching like a madwoman online for his merch and posters but they are all of him like 3 years ago before he was 6'1. anyway back to car trip, we made a stop to a hospital, did a lot of walking, and went to the mall. there i made a stop at a bookstore to get this month's copy of TigerBeat but seems like they dont sell them anymore and i was sad for a while but them was pampered with a copy with the game of thrones book by George RR Martin. i dont follow the series but that doesnt matter now. then i wen to get hair gel and glitter lip gloss cause i dehydrate myself inadvertently and my lips crack. then we got movie tickets for BFG and it was the best movie of 2016 hands down. i thought i had read it before but confused it with Roald Dahl's other book: james and the giant peach. the cinema was empty when we went but audience numbers are not proportional to movie quality in this case. obviously i loved it. here's the breakdown of it.
the story is about a Big Friendly Giant snatching poor, little orphan girl because she saw him in the middle of the night and he brought her home with him in giant country. she comes to know the giant means no harm unlike the rest of his kind who are aggressive, eat humans and hate water but has to keep her in his house else other people hunt him down. they become best friends and together they fight the bully giants!
this movie had me crying and then laughing my butt off faster than any prior movie experience. when BFG left sophie to protect her, i died, and when BFG got the queen to fart with his magic bubble juice, i died laughing. the story was unpredictable, funny and had the most adorable cast. the storyline was pretty long but you will keep listening even if you have some attention deficit disorder. the best thing was that it had a happy ending and i would never say no to a happy ending.
from a movie special effect's point of view, the animation was more immaculate than my physics graph! the giants looked so real that i didnt know it was animated and i was like, 'is sophie animated too?!'
i had a sushi supper and greyson chance is playing on my laptop i must sing along then get to bed. goodnight you! have a good one and stay happy

i know computers

HI darling reader! i'm doing some very intense physics and i hope you're here to let off some steam too. my sister woke me up today at 8.30 or i would have slept till later because going to bed while the weather is hot as balls is not the easiest thing to do. but i did fall asleep dreaming of a perfect filming studio and you know what they say: if you can dream it, you can make it. my breakfast was 2 sausages with milo and i took a shower and had till 11 to chill before school.
i downloaded sony vegas pro13 for free which is a huge achievement for me because it requires a certain degree of IT savvy-ness and i dont trust machines so congrats, me! i have been playing around with windows movie maker and it's fine for the basic stuff like aligning multiple vids and having background songs play but that's about it. so movie maker pleased me for about a fortnight and then i had more requirements in my editing like i needed to have the split screen effect, and to have signs and words written over my video while it's playing so research(google is not synonymous to research) brought me to sony vegas pro13 and it works a charm. after school i had a short video idea and i was so excited about it i positioned my camera, my laptop, my tablet and then my camera which doesnt work that well, ran out of battery without warning and i had to film with a webcam and my tablet and i was feeling pretty good, i had a script to follow and i was so pumped but it was like 4pm and it wasnt the brightest time of day and my face was like a dark spot moving in a shadow. i turned on all the lights, opened the curtains and it improved by the slightest so i decided to just chance it and record anyways. i was done filming in 20 minutes and when i watched what i did the flawed lighting irked me so much i wanted to shoot myself. The light here is not fluorescent white light like in my ipoh house but it is orange light. LIKE  A LEGIT ORANGE COLOUR! my face was a dark orange colour and it's  soooo exasperating, devastating, you name it. i need to buy like camera lights and always equip your houses with white light people!! NEVER THE ORANGE LIGHT! there went an hour of my chill time after school.
school was fine, my friend was there 3 hours before me and she was on her laptop learning how to code! so i just figured how to download software illegally and she one-ups me by learning code. not surprised actually. then we had lunch together and we had our lab-test. it was okay just really long.
By 5.30 i was hungry so made instant noodles as my dinner and my mom got home and fried me an egg which i love! that was my dinner. i got a head ups that tomorrow's dinner is a pizza party so yay!
now back to physics. goodnight there. i'm thinking rest sounds good.
